Lanzo Trenchless Technologies Recognized As Innovation Award Finalist at CAMX 2015
Lanzo Trenchless Technologies was recently recognized as a 2015 CAMX Unsurpassed Innovation Award Finalist at the Composites
and Advanced Materials Expo held in Dallas, TX
The CAMX Award recognizes the cutting-edge innovations that will significantly impact composites and advanced materials in the
marketplace. CAMX looks for visionary concepts and products that show strength through collaboration, while bridging
low-cost materials/high-volume applications with high performance applications/low-volume materials. Lanzo Technolologies
was recognized for a 60" Interceptor Rehabilitation project that utilized 500,000 pounds of Iso Polyester Resin and
spray applied structural Polyurea. According to Fred Tingberg, Business Development Manager for Lanzo Trenchless Technologies,
"this was
the first municipal installation of a Polyurea Technology known as SIPP or spray-in-place pipe in a pressure rated
application. The use of these lining systems are becoming widely supported by municipal owners facing system end of life
cycle issues in high volume treatment applications, where the monetary cost and social impact of a catastrophic failure
needs to be avoided."
