CIPP Lining for NSF Trenchless Technology Repair - Collins Canal
Lanzo Trenchless Technologies responsiveness and expertise was key to this successful outcome. Lanzo accessed, bypassed and lined the 20-inch cast iron pipe with an NSF 61 Certified CIPP liner when the City of Miami Beach was faced with a cracked water main beneath a canal adjacent to Dade Boulevard, a major highway connection to the barrier island. Lanzo's CIPP lining solution was an extremely cost effective and time-saving procedure (the lining timeline was less than thirty days including chlorination and pressure testing), and it restored the structural integrity of the affected water main without significant disruption of traffic, and other buried utilities.

Large Diameter PCCP Yard Piping
Lanzo Construction's expertise in installing complex and large diameter PCCP was called upon to connect four new clarifiers at the Black Point Wastewater Treatment Plant in Miami, FL. In addition, Lanzo rehabilitated existing feed pipe with a CIPP liner, removed irrigation lines, relocated duct banks and water meters, installed tremie concrete under the clarifiers and met very aggressive project deadlines.

Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department hired Lanzo Trenchless Technologies to conduct the carbon fiber rehabilitation work on four 48" PCCP. The access manholes were located on a major roadway with distances from the manhole to the repair opening 60 to 800 feet away. Due to the project location, it was necessary to work with multiple crews on a 24-hour-a-day basis until the project was complete.

Multiple CIPP Outfall Rehabilitation
The City of Detroit awarded Lanzo Trenchless Technologies a multiple outfall project that included fourteen large bore outfalls. Lanzo structurally rehabilitated nearly 20,000 linear feet of concrete, brick, box culvert, and tile sewers using either over-the-hole or conventional ASTM F 1216 direct inversion methodologies. One of the outfalls (Joseph Campeau) was, at the time of this project, the largest singular utilization of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology in the world.

Structural Repair of 108" Levee Equalization Culvert
The Army Corps of Engineers contracted with Lanzo Trenchless Technologies for the structural renovation of a twin barrel 108" levee equalization culvert system located on the Northwest shore of Lake Okeechobee near the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation. Utilizing a barge at the mouth of each culvert, Lanzo Trenchless Technologies successfully installed two CIPP liners into the remote pipelines. Each liner weighed over 40,000 pounds. The location and sheer size of this large bore CIPP installation called for extreme safety precaution to protect the structural rehabilitation team, the environment, and the Seminole community whose lands abut this critical irrigation lifeline.

Environmental Rescue & Emergency Repair - Hollywood, FL
Lanzo Construction Company was recently called to perform an urgent, environmentally sensitive, underground utility repair where active effluent was escaping and threatened to contaminate the Intracoastal Water Way. A 60" Force Main was punctured during a geological survey being conducted on the Hollywood pump station property. The pump station area is located on a low lying barrier island along the Intracoastal Water Way so getting to this repair required expertise, sensitivity and most importantly, expediency. Lanzo's well-known technical expertise in critical utility repair and installation work resulted in an expedited and permanent fix to a potential ecological disaster.
